Parks E-Mail: bparks@intcorp.com Program: BPDECODE.EXE Purpose: a uudecode program for DOS machines which can rename the output file from a uuencoded file Reason: Last week I uuencode the file stuff.exe.bin on a SUN machine and split it into a few pieces so I could fit it onto a few disks and transport it home to my DOS-PC. Upon re-assembling a few 1.44 MB files, I discovered, much to my dismay, that the uudecode programs I had could not handle truncating the .bin off the filename it wanted to output. Now you can. It's far from perfect, it was originally intended only for use as a hack. Source: Most of the code is directly from the FreeBSD sources, so I'm including their cute little notice: /* * Copyright (c) 1983 Regents of the University of California. * All rights reserved. * * Redistribution and use in source and binary forms, with or without * modification, are permitted provided that the following conditions * are met: * 1.
